WINTER CLASSICS is a memorable concert programme featuring some of the truly great classics - a wide range of music including many familiar 'evergreens' alongside a few less well-known but equally attractive pieces, all in delightful windchamber ensemble settings. Each item will be introduced by one of the players during the performance

Prevailing Winds is a remarkable ensemble consisting of three of the finest woodwind players in Britain, who are all past or present principal players in leading British orchestras:

Lynda Coffin

Lynda Coffin (playing flute, alto flute and piccolo in this programme) has been principal flautist with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the Ulster Orchestra.

Andrew Knights (playing oboe, cor anglais and oboe d'amore in this programme) was principal oboist with Bourenmouth Sinfonietta, and has given concerts with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra.

  Andrew Kinghts

Laurence Perkins

Laurence Perkins is principal bassoonist with Manchester Camerata and is well known internationally as a soloist through his concert work and highly-acclaimed solo CDs for Hyperion.

AMAZING VALUE ADMISSION!
